Dermaplaning, or a dermaplane facial, is a gentle exfoliation technique that eliminates dry, dead, or damaged skin from the face to enhance skin tone and texture. These skin cells and peach fuzz are carefully scraped off the skin’s surface, revealing the healthy, radiant skin underneath. Dermaplaning will also make the skin smoother and improve the efficacy of cosmetic products.
How Much Does Dermaplaning Cost?
The cost of your dermaplaning facial treatment at Cosmetic Enhancement Center of New England will depend on a number of factors. During your free consultation, we will discuss your treatment goals to determine the approach to your dermaplaning treatment that will work best for you.

What is the Dermaplaning Treatment Like?
The dermaplaning treatment is well-tolerated and does not require any sort of anesthetic. During treatment, a special blade will be carefully scraped across the skin, removing fine hairs and dead skin cells in the process. This process is quite short, and the full dermaplaning treatment is often completed in less than 30 minutes.
Is There Any Downtime After Dermaplaning?
There is no downtime or recovery period required after the dermaplaning treatment. Patients can come in, receive a dermaplaning treatment, and return to their normal activities the same day. Some patients may experience minor skin irritation during treatment, but any effects caused by this will fade within a day or so.
When Will I See Results from My Dermaplaning Treatment?
The results from dermaplaning will be visible immediately after your treatment, once the damaged skin cells are removed. These results may improve further as any minor side effects fade. The dermaplaning treatment removes about three weeks of dead skin cells, so patients can expect their results to last about a month before needing an additional treatment.
