Xeomin® (pronounced ZEE-oh-min) is the most recent botulinum toxin type A product to be FDA approved for the treatment of severe frown lines. Although Xeomin® works the same way as both Botox® and and Dysport®, the main difference is that Xeomin® does not have any additives. Therefore, it will lessen the likelihood of developing antibodies to it. This means that Xeomin® can often be an effective solution for patients who are no longer achieving their desired results with Botox®.
How Much Does Xeomin Cost?
Your Xeomin® treatment at Cosmetic Enhancement Center of New England will depend on a number of factors. During your free consultation, we will discuss your treatment goals to determine the approach to your Xeomin® treatment that will work best for you.

What is the Xeomin Treatment Like?
The injections involved in the Xeomin® treatment are quick and mild, so patients don’t need to be concerned about a painful treatment. We can even provide a topical numbing solution to minimize any discomfort.
The number and exact location of your injections will depend on your treatment goals. A Xeomin® treatment typically takes less than 30 minutes to perform, which is why it and many other injectable treatments have become known as “lunch-time” cosmetic treatments.
Is There Any Downtime After Xeomin Injections?
There is no downtime or recovery period required after the Xeomin® treatment. Patients can come in, get treated with Xeomin®, and return to their normal activities the same day. You may notice some minor swelling or redness in the treatment area due to the injections, but these effects typically fade within a day or two of treatment.
When Will I See Results from My Xeomin Treatment?
After the Xeomin® treatment, it usually takes about a week for the formula to take effect and the results to become visible. The results from Xeomin® typically last about four to six months. These results can be easily extended with maintenance treatments.
