Viveve® in Portland, ME

If you are looking for a way to address symptoms of urinary incontinence or improve sexual satisfaction, there is no better treatment than Viveve®. At Cosmetic Enhancement Center of New England, we offer this popular vaginal rejuvenation treatment to patients living in Portland and the nearby areas of Maine.

What is Viveve®?

Viveve® in Portland, MEViveve®, also referred to as Viveve® medical, is a sexual health service that is used for vaginal rejuvenation. Viveve® uses gentle radiofrequency energy to stimulate the production of collagen and elastin in the vagina. When this happens, the vaginal tissue is strengthened and tightened. As a result, patients will notice a range of sexual health benefits.

Viveve® can reverse changes in the body that occur due to pregnancy, aging and other factors to produce the following benefits:

  • Reduction in symptoms of urinary incontinence
  • Tighter feel in the vagina
  • Increase in natural lubrication
  • Enhanced sexual sensation
  • Stronger or more frequent orgasms

Unlike other vaginal rejuvenation treatments, Viveve is the only treatment that uses algorithmically controlled cooling to distribute energy evenly across vaginal tissue for optimal treatment. Our consultations are always free. Find your inner strength today!

How Much Does Viveve® Cost?

Your Viveve® treatment at Cosmetic Enhancement Center of New England will depend on a number of factors. During your free consultation, we will discuss your treatment goals to determine the approach to your Viveve® treatment that will work best for you.

Some patients may need multiple treatment sessions. We will consider these and other factors in order to provide you with the full cost of your treatment during your consultation. To make this and other services more affordable, we are proud to offer financing through CareCredit®.

What is the Viveve® Treatment Like?

The Viveve® treatment uses radiofrequency energy combined with a controlled cooling system to produce a non-surgical treatment that requires absolutely no anesthetic. During treatment, the Viveve® device will be inserted into the vaginal canal. Here, it will safely deliver radiofrequency energy to the vaginal tissue to stimulate growth and healing.

This process may cause a warm or tingling sensation, but is virtually painless. A single Viveve® treatment session takes about one hour.

What is Recovery Like After Viveve®?

There is no recovery period or downtime necessary after the Viveve® treatment. You will be able to resume all normal activities immediately after your appointment. However, we recommend that patients wait just 48 hours before resuming sexual intercourse in order to allow the vaginal tissue to fully recover.

What Kind of Results Can I Expect from Viveve®?

After your treatment, many patients begin to notice results within a few months. These results will continue to improve for several months as collagen continues to repair and strengthen the vaginal tissue. You can expect the full results to become noticeable approximately six months after your treatment.

Most patients only need one treatment to achieve results, but additional treatments can be performed if you are dissatisfied. Results can last for a few years, but we encourage patients to receive treatments once a year to maintain their results.
