The VBeam® is a pulse dye laser that has long been considered the “gold standard” for treating issues related to broken capillaries, rosacea, port wine stains and spider veins. It can also target superficial pigmentation discoloration such as cherry hemangiomas, stretch marks, acne scars, psoriasis, warts and more.
How Much Do VBeam® Laser Treatments Cost?
Your VBeam® laser treatment at Cosmetic Enhancement Center of New England will depend on a number of factors. During your free consultation, we will discuss your treatment goals to determine the approach to your VBeam® laser treatment that will work best for you.

What is the VBeam® Laser Treatment Like?
During the VBeam® laser treatment, the VBeam® laser device is used to deliver controlled laser energy to the desired treatment area. Most most patients report a warming or tingling sensation during this process. Still, it is considered a comfortable treatment and no anesthetic is necessary. The skin being treated is additionally protected by VBeam®’s dynamic cooling method, which delivers a cooling mist on to the skin before the laser pulse is emitted.
What is Recovery Like After a VBeam® Laser Treatment?
Immediately following treatment, the area may feel firm or tight. Some patients experience redness or mild swelling in the treated area immediately as well. Occasionally purpura, a laser bruise, may occur. Purpura is transient and usually disappears in three to five days. In addition, we recommend that patients avoid sun exposure for a few days following their VBeam® laser treatment.
What Kind of Results Can I Expect from My VBeam® Laser Treatment?
Most patients notice some results from a VBeam® treatment right away. The results of laser therapy vary depending on the condition that is being treated and the number of treatments required. The duration of results depend on many factors, like the condition being treated, or lifestyle of the patient.

The patient was 27 years old at the time of treatment.
The patient received one Ellman treatment. The patient then received 3 VBeam treatments over the course of 9 months to aid in redness.
The after photo was taken 8 months after the 2nd VBeam treatment.
VBeam® Laser Patient
Combination Treatment
The patient was 52 at the time of treatment.
The patient received 1 Sclerotherapy treatment (5cc) and 1 VBeam treatment to treat spider veins on the legs.
The after photos were taken approximately 2 months after the treatments.
