How Much Does an Ultrasonic Facial Cost?
The cost of your Ultrasonic Facial treatment at Cosmetic Enhancement Center of New England will depend on a number of factors. During your free consultation, we will discuss your treatment goals to determine the approach to your Ultrasonic Facial treatment that will work best for you.
Some patients may need multiple treatment sessions. We will consider these and other factors in order to provide you with the full cost of your treatment during your consultation. To make this and other services more affordable, we are proud to offer financing through CareCredit®.
What is the Ultrasonic Facial Treatment Like?
- Step 1 – The skin is exfoliated in what is called cavitation. Ultrasonic vibrations move water molecules at a high frequency to cleanse the pores of dead skin cells, pollutants, and makeup debris. It also diminishes pore size and kills bacteria.
- Step 2 – Sonophoresis is a series of low-frequency ultrasound waves that open up microscopic pathways in the skin cells, which allows nutrient and anti-oxidant products to penetrate deep into the skin. This step also heats the skin, which stimulates collagen production to help reduce fine lines.
- Step 3 – Microcurrent Therapy ‘normalizes’ the skin using a very mild electric current. This promotes healing and restores cells to normal balance and function.
What Can I Expect After My Ultrasonic Facial?
The Ultrasonic Facial treatment has no recovery period or downtime. In fact, it is often used to accelerate the recovery process of other cosmetic treatments. You will be able to return to work and other activities immediately after your appointment. Results will become visible in the following weeks, and will become increasingly evident as additional treatments are performed.
