The O-Shot® is a simple sexual health service that uses the healing powers of PRP therapy to improve vaginal health and increase sexual satisfaction. This non-surgical procedure is great for candidates who have low sexual desire, difficulty with arousal, painful sex, and accidents when jumping, coughing or laughing. While this treatment is primarily used to enhance a woman’s sexual response, it has also been found to help with mild stress incontinence.
How Much Does an O-Shot® Cost?
Your O-Shot® treatment at Cosmetic Enhancement Center of New England will depend on a number of factors. During your free consultation, we will discuss your treatment goals to determine the approach to your O-Shot® treatment that will work best for you.
Some patients may need multiple treatment sessions. We will consider these and other factors in order to provide you with the full cost of your treatment during your consultation. To make this and other services more affordable, we are proud to offer financing through CareCredit®.
What is the O-Shot® Treatment Like?
The O-Shot® treatment begins with collecting a small amount of blood, just like any PRP therapy treatment. This blood will be placed in a machine called a centrifuge, which removes unnecessary ingredients to produce the platelet-rich plasma. Then, a numbing solution will be applied to the treatment area.
Once numbed, PRP will be injected into the clitoris and the surrounding areas of the vagina. Thanks to the numbing agent, this treatment is virtually painless.
What is the Recovery Period Like After an O-Shot®?
There is no recovery period or downtime necessary after the O-Shot® treatment. You can resume all normal activities, including sexual intercourse, immediately after your treatment. You may experience some minor soreness in the treatment area after your appointment, but these symptoms typically fade within a day of treatment.
What Kind of Results Can I Expect from My O-Shot®?
The results from the O-Shot® are often noticeable almost immediately, with patients quickly noticing improved sensitivity in the clitoris and G-spot area. Women often report stronger and more frequent orgasms following their O-Shot® treatment. Additional treatments can be performed to further increase these benefits.
