What Are Juvéderm® Ultra and Ultra Plus?
Juvéderm® Ultra and Ultra Plus are thicker versions of the Juvéderm® formula, making them highly effective for filling and smoothing various wrinkles and folds in the face. These treatments can be used for nasolabial folds, smile lines and many other wrinkles and folds that develop as a result of aging. Juvéderm® Ultra can also be used for lip augmentation, improving the volume and shape of the lips to enhance the appearance.
The only difference between Juvéderm® Ultra and Ultra Plus is that Juvéderm® Ultra Plus is a thicker formula. This means it is better suited for deeper or more severe facial wrinkles and folds, while Juvéderm® Ultra may be better for wrinkles and folds that are less severe.
How Much Do Juvéderm® Ultra and Ultra Plus Cost?
The cost of your Juvéderm® Ultra or Ultra Plus treatment at Cosmetic Enhancement Center of New England will depend on a number of factors. During your free consultation, we will discuss your treatment goals to determine the approach to your Juvéderm® treatment that will work best for you.

What Are the Juvéderm® Ultra and Ultra Plus Treatments Like?
The injections involved in the Juvéderm® Ultra and Ultra Plus treatments are generally well-tolerated, as they contain lidocaine, a local numbing agent. However, we can also provide a topical numbing solution to minimize any discomfort.
The number of injections and comfort level of treatment may vary depending on your treatment goals. The Juvéderm® Ultra and Ultra Plus treatments typically takes less than 30 minutes to perform, which is why they and many other injectable treatments have become known as “lunch-time” cosmetic treatments.
Is There Any Downtime After Juvéderm® Ultra or Ultra Plus Injections?
There is no downtime or recovery period required after the Juvéderm® Ultra or Ultra Plus. Patients can come in, get treated with Juvéderm® Ultra or Ultra Plus, and return to their normal activities the same day. However, it’s important to note that you may experience redness, swelling, or tenderness in the treatment area due to the injections. These effects typically fade within a week of treatment.
When Will I See Results from My Juvéderm® Ultra and Ultra Plus Treatment?
After the Juvéderm® Ultra or Ultra Plus treatments, the results will be visible instantly. These formulas will immediately plump the skin, smoothing lines and wrinkles in the treatment area to produce a more youthful appearance. The results from Juvéderm® Ultra will last about one year, while the results from Juvéderm® Ultra Plus will last up to 18 months.
