What is Ellman?

Ellman is an advanced treatment system that uses radiofrequency energy for the removal of moles, warts, skin tags, and related skin growths. This is the recommended technique for the removal of these growths, because it eliminates any scarring and is a much safer technique than traditional excision approaches. Plus, patients will not have to undergo multiple treatment sessions, which is occasionally necessary for cryotherapy and related techniques.

The Ellman system uses radiofrequency energy to cut the skin growth out of the skin. Thanks to the use of radiofrequency energy, the skin is simultaneously cut and sealed, minimizing bleeding, discomfort, and damage to the surrounding skin.

How Much Does Ellman Cost?

The cost of your Ellman treatments at Cosmetic Enhancement Center of New England will depend on a number of factors. During your free consultation, we will assess your condition and discuss your treatment goals to determine the approach to your Ellman treatment that will work best for you.

What Can I Expect from the Ellman Treatment?

The Ellman treatment begins with the application of a local anesthetic to reduce any discomfort in the treatment area. Once numbed, the handheld Ellman device will be used to cut and remove the mole, wart or skin tag from the skin. Once removed, the treatment will be complete. Mole, wart, and skin tag removal with the Ellman system is often completed in less than 30 minutes.

What is the Ellman Recovery Like?

There is no downtime or recovery period necessary after the Ellman treatment. You may experience some redness or scabbing in the treatment area, but this will fade within a few days and the skin should return to its normal color. You will need to take special care of the treatment area for a few days, but will otherwise be able to return to all normal activities.

What Ellman Results Can I Expect?

The results from Ellman will be visible immediately, as the targeted skin growth will be removed during treatment. However, it may take a few days for the side effects to fade and for the full results of treatment to be revealed. The results from Ellman mole, wart and skin tag removal will be permanent, and only one treatment is needed.
