What is Profound?

Profound, also called the Profound facelift, is the premier treatment to lift skin, add volume, and tighten tissues after only one treatment. Profound uses radiofrequency microneedling to deliver energy at precise, regulated temperatures to specific points under the skin. This controlled damage to the under layers of the skin signals to the brain to jump-start collagen production – resulting in youthful, firm skin.

Called the ‘non-invasive facelift,’ the Profound lifts, tightens, and volumizes the skin with a single procedure. Candidates for the Profound procedure include patients who have sagging skin in the cheeks, jowls, or other areas, wrinkles and/or loss of volume. The benefits of Profound include:

How Much Does Profound Cost?

Your Profound facelift treatment at Cosmetic Enhancement Center of New England will depend on a number of factors. During your free consultation, we will discuss your treatment goals to determine the approach to your Profound treatment that will work best for you.

Some patients may need multiple treatment sessions. We will consider these and other factors in order to provide you with the full cost of your treatment during your consultation. To make this and other services more affordable, we are proud to offer financing through CareCredit^®.

What is the Profound Treatment Like?

Before the Profound treatment, we will apply a local anesthetic to the skin to minimize discomfort and produce a comfortable treatment experience. Then, the Profound device will be used to make small punctures in the skin, as radiofrequency energy stimulates collagen production and triggers the body’s healing response.

What is the Recovery Like After Profound?

After the Profound treatment, patients can expect about one week of swelling, redness and bruising in the treatment area.

What Kind of Results Can I Expect from Profound?

Patients can expect to see results as soon as three months after the Profound treatment. However, skin laxity will continue to improve throughout the following months as the collagen builds in the treated area. Maximum results will occur six to nine months after treatment.
