What is Microneedling RF?

Microneedling RF, or radiofrequency microneedling, is a microneedling technique that combines the popular cosmetic treatment with the collagen-stimulating benefits of radiofrequency energy. During the microneedling treatment, radiofrequency energy is emitted to further increase collagen production and produce more dramatic benefits in skin volume and laxity.

How Much Does Microneedling RF Cost?

The cost of your microneedling RF treatment at Cosmetic Enhancement Center of New England will depend on a number of factors. During your free consultation, we will discuss your treatment goals to determine the approach to your microneedling RF treatment that will work best for you.

What is the Microneedling RF Treatment Like?

During the microneedling RF treatment, a handheld microneedling device will be used to place small punctures in the skin. While inserted into the skin, this device will emit radiofrequency energy to trigger collagen production in the skin. This process will be repeated until the entire treatment area has been addressed. An microneedling RF treatment typically takes less than an hour to complete.

Is There Any Downtime After Microneedling RF?

Thanks to the combined use of radiofrequency energy and microneedling technology, there is little to no downtime required after microneedling RF. Patients may experience minor redness or sensitivity in the skin following treatment, but these side effects typically fade within a day or two. You will be able to resume most normal activities immediately following your appointment.

When Will I See Results from My Microneedling RF Treatment?

The results from your microneedling RF treatment will become visible within the weeks following treatment, as the skin heals and collagen becomes produced and implemented into the skin. These results will continue to improve over the following months, thanks to the continued benefits of collagen. Some patients may need multiple treatment sessions to achieve their desired results.

Over the course of approximately one month, the patient received 2 Ultherapy treatments to the lips and 2 treatments of PiXel8 RF to the under-eye, cheeks, chin, and nose areas.
