Vbeam Laser

The Vbeam laser is a 595nm wavelength laser. This wavelength is excellent for targeting hemoglobin in the skin and thus removing blood vessels while leaving the surrounding skin intact and healthy.

You may feel a rubber band snap sensation on the skin, followed by the feeling of sunburn. Most people do not require topical anesthetics. However, some prefer an anesthetic cream. How many treatments are required?

This depends on the size, location, depth and color of your lesion. Spider veins on the face and age spots generally do well with one or two treatments, while darker or deeper birthmarks may require additional treatments. Treatments should be placed several weeks apart to allow your body to remove the maximum amount of pigment cells. You will continue to see a lightening of your lesion after each treatment as your body disposes of the pigment cells.

Most patients will see their lesions improve immediately. However, improvement may be gradual over about a months time.
