Laser Tattoo Removal

The laser works by producing short pulses of intense light that safely penetrate the skin and are absorbed by the tattoo pigment. This causes the pigment to break into tiny particles that are the absorbed by the body and removed by the immune system.

Laser tattoo removal is a gradual process and although the slowness of the process can be frustrating the end result is definitely worth the time invested. It can take 6-15 treatments (possibly more) to remove a professional tattoo and 3-6 (possibly more) to remove a homemade tattoo. Treatments are spaced 6-8 weeks apart to give the skin time to heal and the ink time to fade.
